That means there’s a lot of competition for the best romantic movies of the 21st century. It doesn’t matter if it’s a horror movie, an action movie, a biopic or a conventional rom-com it seems like Hollywood doesn’t even know how to tell a story that doesn’t have a little love in it. After all, practically every movie has a romantic subplot of one kind or another.
Narrowing down the greatest love stories, of any era, may very well be a fool’s errand.
